Terms and Conditions – Japanese Dictionary

Welcome to Japanese Dictionary (the “App”). These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) govern your use of the App. By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1) Accounts

You may use the App without creating an account.
Creating an account is required to gain full access to all features and to complete in-app purchases.
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

2) In‑App Purchases

The App offers one‑time, lifetime access purchases to unlock all features. No subscriptions are offered.
Purchases are processed via Google Play. Any billing issues or refunds are subject to Google Play’s policies.
Access purchased may be linked to your Google Play purchase record and/or your App account.

3) Acceptable Use

Use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
Do not attempt to interfere with the App’s security, integrity, or performance.
Do not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to access source code, except where permitted by law.
Do not misuse, copy, or redistribute App content without permission.

4) Feedback & Support

You may contact us at [email protected] to provide feedback or request support. By submitting feedback, you grant us a non‑exclusive, worldwide, royalty‑free license to use it to improve the App, without obligation to compensate you.

5) Promotions

We may offer promotions, discounts, or special offers from time to time. Such offers may be subject to additional terms presented at the time of the promotion. If there is a conflict, the promotion‑specific terms will control for that offer.

6) Intellectual Property

The App, including its content, features, and design, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. No rights are granted to you other than to use the App in accordance with these Terms.

7) Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non‑infringement. We do not guarantee the App will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error‑free.

8) Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) the App, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

9) Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App immediately if you violate these Terms or use the App unlawfully. You may stop using the App at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive (including intellectual property, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability).

10) Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via an in‑app notice and/or email. Continued use of the App after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11) Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Australia, Australia, without regard to conflict‑of‑laws rules. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in South Australia for the resolution of any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the App.
